Diane Marsh, Historic Studios at berrendo road director

Diane Marsh is the current Director of the Historic Studios at Berrendo Road. She graduated from the University of Buffalo with an MFA degree in painting in 1978. In 1979 She received a grant from the Elizabeth Greenshields Foundation and moved to New York City. In 1980 she received a grant from the RAiR Foundation and embarked on her first trip to the American West. After returning to NYC in 1981 she continued to show, was represented by the Struve Gallery in Chicago and received a National Endowment for the Arts grant in 1985. She received grants from the Nebraska State Arts Council (2001) and the Kittridge Foundation (2003) and has work in collections around the country including the Hess Collection Museum (Napa, CA), The Museum of Nebraska Arts (Kearney, NE), Museum of Fine Arts (Santa Fe, NM), The Sheldon Museum of Art (Lincoln, NE), The Albuquerque Museum, The Albrecht-Kemper Museum (St. Joseph, MO), West Texas Museum (Lubbock, TX) and others. She enjoys immensely the task of preserving the Historic Studios as living and working homes and studios for artists. Most recently (2017) she obtained recognition for the Historic Studios at Berrendo Road and it is now listed on the State and National Register of Historic Places.
