David Hollowell 

David Hollowell (b. 1951) was born in Hornell, New York. He graduated with a BFA from Ithaca College in New York in 1973 and a MFA from Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut in 1976. He taught painting and drawing for over thirty years, with the majority of those years at the University of California, Davis. In the early 2000s he became a resident of Woodland, California and taught at the Woodland Art Center. With over sixty solo and group exhibitions, David’s work is in the public collections of, amongst others, the Yale Art Museum, Connecticut and the Phoenix Art Museum, Arizona.
