Delwin Christensen 

Delwin Christensen (1946) was raised in rural Kansas. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Art from Fort Hays Kansas State College in 1968, then gained a MA in Drawing and Sculpture from San Diego State University, California, in 1975, followed by and a MFA from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1977. Delwin taught sculpture at Montana State University in Bozeman before moving to New Mexico and participating in the Roswell Artist-in-Residence Program. Later, from warehouse studios in Oakland and Berkeley, California, he continued drawing, making steel sculpture, painting and exhibiting. After a second RAiR period, Delwin built his Santa Fe studio where he worked for several years before returning to Lawrence, Kansas.
