John Sparagana

John Sparagana received his MFA from Stanford University in 1987. He is the Grace Christian Vietti Chair of Visual Arts at Rice University. Recent solo exhibitions include ‘John Sparagana’ at the Susanne Vielmetter Projects in Los Angeles, ‘Themesong Variations’ at Corbett vs Dempsey in Chicago, and ‘Breather’ at the Sicardi Gallery in Houston. Recent group exhibitions include ‘Albert Oehlen/John Sparagana’ at the Studiolo in Zürich, Switzerland; ‘Without you I am nothing’ at Heldart in Berlin, Germany, curated by Arturo Herrera; and ‘Utopia/Dystopia: Construction and Destruction in Photography and Collage’ at the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston.
