Judy Richardson 

New York sculptor Judy Richardson (1956) was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She obtained a BFA in Sculpture in 1979 from the Kansas City Art Institute in Missouri and a MFA in Sculpture in 1992 from the School of Visual Arts in New York. She spent many years sculpting and painting scenery for the San Francisco Opera and teaching art at various schools in New York. Judy travelled to South America on a Sustainable Bolivia Artist in Residence Grant in 2015. She was also a recipient of the Willowtail Artist Residency Grant and the Pollock-Krasner Foundation Grant. By 2016 Judy held over thirty solo and group exhibitions in New York, New Jersey, North Carolina, California and New Mexico.
