Katie Kahn

Katie Kahn exhibits nationally and has had solo exhibitions in Chicago, Houston and New York. She received her BFA from the California College of Arts and Crafts and her MFA from the Yale University School of Art. She has also attended the University of Chicago and the Yale Norfolk Summer School of Music and Art. She is a recipient of the National Endowment for the Arts Individual Artist Fellowship, and has had several residencies. She is currently associate professor of art at Northern Illinois University and lives in Chicago. She has been a practicing Buddhist for 40 years. (From RAiR 50th Anniversary Exhibition Catalog, 2017)
