Linda Mieko Allen

Linda Mieko Allen was born in Osaka, Japan. She received her BFA in painting from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and attended Rhode Island School of Design, Providence. Linda has been awarded numerous residencies and grants, and has also received two Pollock-Krasner Foundation Awards and a Massachusetts Cultural Council grant award. Her work is included in many private and museum collections and she has exhibited extensively nationally and internationally. Linda lives in North Adams, Massachusetts, and is represented by Nancy Hoffman Gallery in New York City. Linda's work is an investigation into concepts of place and displacement.
