Scott Greene

Scott Greene studied at California College of the Arts before receiving his BFA in painting from San Francisco Art Institute in 1981 and his MFA in painting from the University of New Mexico in 1994. In addition to RAiR, he has exhibited nationally and internationally at the Kulturtorvet Gallery in Copenhagen, Austin Museum of Art, Canton Museum of Art, Albuquerque Museum of Art and History and Kohler Art Center. His work combines art historical references and satire to reveal the often divisive relationships between nature, politics and culture. Scott’s work is represented by Catharine Clark Gallery in San Francisco, California, and Turner Carroll Gallery in Santa Fe, New Mexico. (From RAiR 50th Anniversary Exhibition Catalog, 2017)
