April AMoCA Activities

Artesia Junior High School art instructor Brandi Cox brought 100 of her students to AMoCA and the Roswell Museum for a morning of visual amusement. AMoCA provided students with a sketchbook that included drawing prompts related to each of its 12 galleries.

Pecos Valley Quilters had two new experiences in April - their first ZOOM quilt workshop and their first time sewing at AMoCA! Quilter Kellie Willey of Sacramento, CA, presented a mini bow-tie quilt demonstration while PVQ participants sewed along!

AMoCA and RAiR also participated in the Creative New Mexico's Art and Culture showcase in conjunction with the Roswell Museum's Second Saturday. The event highlighted the area's offerings in visual art, music, history and theater.
