Artworks Inspire Fiber Art
Members of the Pecos Valley Quilters spent an afternoon at AMoCA last fall, choosing an artwork(s) to inspire their own creation. The result is on display until early March in AMoCA's West Gallery. Thanks to Dietta Hitchcock for organizing, and to the following quilters for sharing their talents: Sue Sydow, Lorie Miteer, Carolyn Mitchell, Becky Underation, Alexis Swoboda, Rhonda Connally, Carol Ann Moorehead, Linda Jones, and Dietta Hitchcock.
Rockin' and Rollin'
AMoCA's single-level wheelchair accessible galleries make for a great indoor outing as these recent visitors from Artesia's San Pedro Nursing Center can attest to! One of the residents even took our Bosendorfer piano “for a spin,” entertaining her fellow travelers.
