Published at the 40th anniversary of the Roswell Artist-in-Residence (RAiR) Program (2007), this 206-page book weaves the history of RAiR with stories from and about its participants. Written by Ann McGarrell with Sally M. Anderson; published by University of New Mexico Press. Among the artists contributing are David Reed, Milton Resnick, Pat Passlof, Luis Jimenez, Richard Shaffer, Stuart Arends, John Furnival, Robert Colescott, Daisy Craddock, Susan Marie Dopp, Stewart MacFarlane, James McGarrell, Rosemarie Fiore and many others.
