Bruce Wolosoff is a composer and pianist whose work has been recognized for the way it integrates modern, classical, jazz, and blues together. In recent years, Wolosoff has been composing music in response to visual art. “The Astronomer’s Key” was commissioned from Bruce Wolosoff by the Roswell Artist-in-Residence Foundation for the Montage Music Society in celebration of RAiR’s 50th Anniversary and is inspired by the work of Milton Resnick, who was an Artist-in-Residence in 1970-71.
