Jane Abrams has lived and worked in Albuquerque for over 40 years. Among her many accomplishments are two senior National Endowment for the Arts grants as well as grants from the Pollock-Krasner Foundation and the John Anson Kittredge Foundation. She has been awarded residency grands and visiting artist awards in Canada, Central America, Spaint and Southeast Asia as well as in the United States at the Anderson Ranch, Robert R. MacNamara Foundation, Bemis Center for Contemporary Arts, Aritist in Risidence in the Everglades and the Roswell Artist-in-Residence Program (1976-77). Jane is Regents’ Professor Emerita from the University of New Mexico, Department of Art and Art History.
